Q1. My expectations from Amity?
Ans. A good B-school not only teaches managements skill for business, but also helps to enhance the overall personality of the student. Apart from academics, there are many other activities, which help, in such an overall development. Some of which I expect amity to provide are as follows:

 Industry Interaction - I would like to see various opportunities for face to face interaction with leading industry professionals through seminars and guest lectures, industry visits etc.

 Healthy Competition - I aspect amity to provide various opportunities, which would encourage a sense of healthy competitiveness among the students, in the form of in-house competitions, participation in inter-B-School competitions, sports meets etc.

 Research Activities - Encouraging and guiding students on writing research papers, working on industry research or consultancy projects and in-depth studies, would help them to augment their knowledge on their chosen subjects.

 Attitude Development - Special attention should be given for developing the right attitude and outlook among the students. Special Programs, Unique methods – theatre workshops would contribute to not only in developing a sharp business mind, but also a sound and complete personality.

 Mentoring - A system wherein the Amity alumni or also other members of the Amity who are in the corporate setting, would act as mentors to the future business leaders. Groups of students can be attached to the selected mentor who would then offers his or her assistance, support and guidance to the students, facilitating them with the realization of their career objectives.

 Global Exposure - I wish to see some kind of a exposure to the global business environment at Amity, through interactions with students of foreign b-schools and their faculties.

 Live Projects - Opportunities should be provided to the students to work on live projects of various business corporates, during our MBA program.

I hope, that Amity would develop its students not only as good business managers and entrepreneurs, but also as better human beings.


Q2. My career vision ?
Ans. My vision is to acquire an elite position in the corporate sector and to achieve a prominent standing in the society, through my efficient efforts. Whenever I get a success on my goals, I wish to share it with my colleagues and also give back to the society whatever I gain from it.

Q3. Reasons for choosing finance as a specialization.
Ans. Presently the Indian economy is on a higher growth rate than the other third world countries and due to that financial sector is strengthening day by day. The arrival of colossal funds via FDI & FII, has opened up vast career options in this sector. We can easily notice this through the influx and expansion of major foreign financial institutions in India. Another reason is that this sector is considered as an evergreen sector with no slack periods, as every other industry is always dependent on banks and other financial institutions. Hence. According to my perception a exhaustive study of the finance subjects can provide me a good career.

Q4. How would I achieve my objectives?
Ans. I would achieve my objectives through an exhaustive study of my subjects, and also by learning the ways to implement such knowledge in real life. This can be achieved through a collective effort by our faculties, our batch mates and myself.

Q5. How would I like to be developed?
Ans. I would like to be developed as a professional, equipped with the best business and managerial skills, entering into the corporate world and determined to make a niche for myself. I would like to be build up more upon improving my personality and addition of leadership qualities. An understanding of International Business Environment and foreign languages would definitely enhance my placement prospects.
